Deniene King, DNP
As an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, it allows me to be an advocate for the overall well-being of my patients. This background gives me a broad range to provide mental health services, along with addressing physical health concerns. The environment bestowed upon my patients is harmonious and conducive to healing.
My goal is to provide patient-centered mental health care to individuals and families who need mental health support, especially during times of crisis. I make sure my patients are comfortable with their treatment program, offering them an opportunity to express their concerns and explore possible options for their mental health. I emphasize mental health literacy and mental health promotion with my patients, which helps patients become more involved in their care.
